1. What Owain is

Owain is a self-tracking app for men's sexual health. It helps you log daily signals and surfaces observations from your own data. Owain is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for professional medical advice.

2. What Owain is not

Owain does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or prescriptions. The Sexual Health Index is a personal tracking metric based on your self-reported data. It is not a clinical score. Educational articles in the app reference institutional sources (NHS, Mayo Clinic, CDC, NIH, Cleveland Clinic) for informational purposes only.

If you experience persistent health concerns, sudden changes in sexual function, cardiovascular symptoms, or mental health issues, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Owain. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID used to sign in. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you log. We are not liable for insights derived from inaccurate self-reported data.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Owain offers a 7-day free trial, followed by paid subscriptions billed through Apple's App Store. Pricing is displayed on the paywall screen before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

6. AI features

The AI coach and weekly observations are generated using third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude). AI outputs are descriptive observations based on your data, not medical advice. We implement content filters to prevent the AI from making diagnoses or treatment recommendations, but no filter is perfect. You should not rely on AI outputs for medical decisions.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of your data. We process it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and all data at any time from Settings.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use Owain as a substitute for professional medical care.
• Provide false health data with the intent to manipulate outputs.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

Owain is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any observations, scores, or educational content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owain and its creators are not liable for any health outcomes, medical decisions, or damages arising from use of the app.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
