PILLAR · DATA & RESEARCH
Male sexual health, from the cohort up. Not from a survey. Not from a supplement ad.
Most published data on male sexual health comes from either clinical populations (already sick) or self-report surveys (already biased). Owain's cohort is different: healthy men logging daily inputs for weeks. This pillar is where we publish what the aggregated, anonymised data actually shows - and what it does not.
Why cohort data matters here
The gap in the male sexual health literature is huge: most studies are small, cross-sectional, and drawn from men already in a clinic. Longitudinal data from healthy men living normal lives - with sleep, alcohol, cardio and stress logged daily - barely exists. That is exactly what daily tracking generates. Aggregated across users, it produces the first real look at how these variables interact at population scale.
How we handle the data
Everything is opt-in and anonymised at aggregation time. No individual record leaves the app. Research write-ups only report patterns visible in 100+ users. Nothing is sold, ever. Users can export or delete their full history from inside the app in one tap - the research corpus is a byproduct of the tracker, not the point of it.
The State of Male Sexual Health - annual report
Once the cohort passes 1,000 sustained daily loggers, we publish the first annual State of Male Sexual Health report: how morning quality shifts with age, which lifestyle inputs move IIEF-5 hardest, what the sleep-libido relationship actually looks like when measured day-over-day for a year. Free, open, downloadable, cited by URL.
Working papers - the smaller studies
In between annual reports, shorter working papers on specific questions: alcohol and next-day erectile quality; the relationship between deep sleep percentage and morning wood frequency; how HRV predicts libido reports at 48-hour lag; whether steady-state cardio outperforms HIIT for erectile function in the cohort. Each paper reports methodology, sample size, and effect sizes - no clickbait.
How to contribute
The only way in is to use the app. Every daily log adds signal. You keep your data private on your device by default and choose whether to opt in to anonymised aggregation. Opting out never limits app functionality - the tracker works either way.
WHAT YOU GET
Built for signal, not noise.
Real longitudinal data
Daily logs from healthy men across weeks - a dataset that basically does not exist in the published literature.
Anonymised and opt-in
No individual data ever leaves the app. Aggregated patterns only, with 100+ users minimum.
Open reports
Every published finding includes methodology, sample size, and effect sizes. Cite the URL.

QUESTIONS
What people ask before signing up.
Is my individual data ever shared?
No. Never. Aggregation only kicks in for patterns visible across 100+ users, and no individual record is ever exposed. You can opt out of aggregation and still use every feature.
When is the first report published?
Once the cohort passes 1,000 sustained daily loggers. Early access users are notified first and can download it free.
Can I access the raw data?
Aggregated public datasets are released with each report, with all identifying features stripped. Individual-level data is never released - not to researchers, not to partners, not to us for anything beyond aggregation.
Is this a clinical trial?
No. It is observational cohort research on healthy men living normal lives - the opposite of a clinical trial population. That is precisely what makes it useful.
Can I stop contributing at any time?
Yes. Toggle aggregation off in settings, or delete your full data history in one tap. Either action is respected immediately.
